Why Choose Allied Metal for Your Fasteners
We don’t just make parts — we engineer reliability into every fastener. Here’s what sets us apart.
Precision Investment Casting
Silica sol process for stainless steel, heat‑resistant alloys, and nickel‑based superalloys. Ideal for intricate fasteners, thin‑wall structures, and curved profiles — reducing secondary machining.
- Dimensional accuracy: CT5-7
- Max casting weight: 65 kg
- Minimum wall thickness: 2.5 mm (typical)
Precision CNC Machining
Equipped with DMG MORI and MAZAK machining centres for flange faces, threaded holes, sensor ports, and complex profiles — ensuring interchangeability and assembly fit.
- Positioning accuracy: ±0.003 mm
- Critical features: IT5 tolerance
- 100% CMM inspection
In‑House Lab & Inspection
Every batch is verified in our accredited lab. From raw material verification to final dimensional inspection — we test in‑house so you don’t have to.
- CMM: ±0.001 mm accuracy
- Spectrometer / OES analysis
- Universal tester: 300 kN
Surface & Heat Treatment
- Hardness control: ±1.5 HRC
- Aluminising depth: 0.05–0.15 mm
- Ceramic coating withstands >1000°C
Prototyping in 10–15 days Flexible volumes (10 to 100,000+ pcs) Casting + CNC + heat treatment — one source
How We Improve Fastener & System Performance
Optimised fillet radii and thread rolling improve fatigue life. Topology optimisation can reduce weight by 10–20%.
Zn‑Ni, Dacromet, Geomet, electropolishing and more — proven to C5‑H, with salt spray testing ≥1000 hours.
Pre‑applied micro‑encapsulated adhesive, nylon patches, deformed threads, and integrated O‑ring grooves.
Laser marking / 2D codes linked to our ERP, tracking from melt lot to finished part — ideal for automotive and rail.
