What is Carbon Steel Casting?
Carbon steel casting refers to the process of producing carbon steel castings using the casting process. Carbon steel is an iron-carbon alloy containing 0.02%-2.11% carbon, with good weldability, corrosion resistance, strength and wear resistance. It is widely used in machinery manufacturing, automobile manufacturing, petrochemical and chemical industries.

Common Carbon Steel Casting Materials
Mild steel(low carbon steel) , strong and ductile, has good weldability properties.
Suitable for use incrimping, bending, swaging, worms, pins, gears, dowels, tool holders, machine parts, pinions, ratchets, etc.
Pertains to surface hardening,high carbon steel, hardened, and welded.
Suitable for use in hydraulic shafts, motor shafts, pump shafts, machinery parts.
High carbon steel, has moderate hardness and strength, machineable, ductile.
Suitable for machinery parts, used in the tempered and quenched condition for strength.
Low carbon steel, suitable for induction hardening and flame;
Used for forged parts, links, gears, couplings, forged shafts and axles.
